4th of July Activities in the Conejo Valley

The 4th of July weekend is the perfect time to spend time with your loved ones while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Luckily, the Conejo Valley has many activities that are fun for all ages this holiday weekend.

Start your 4th of July early at the 45th Annual Westlake Village 4th of July Parade, starting at 9:45 a.m. The parade is then followed by music, inflatables, games, and music at Bernice Bennett Park until noon. Make sure to come early to enjoy the Boy Scout pancake breakfast before the parade.

After the parade, make sure to head over to the Stagecoach Inn Muesum in Newbury Park for the ice cream social and patriotic celebration. The event goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature free barbershop music and ice cream.

The annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is happening once again in Thousand Oaks. The fireworks are launched from the top of the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts. The best places to watch the firework show is at the Janss Marketplace and The Oaks Mall parking lots. The show begins at 9 p.m., but make sure to head over at least 15 minutes early to make sure you find the perfect spot.

Along with the free firework viewing, the Janss Marketplace will be providing free live music and activities for children starting at 5 p.m. The Oaks Mall parking lot will be open to viewers starting at 6 p.m.
