This Easter, consider bringing your youngsters to the biggest holiday event in the Conejo Valley.
On Saturday, April 19, the rancho Simi Recreation & Park District will host the Spring Egg Hunt and Arts & Crafts Show from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the district’s Mae Boyar Park.
The hunt is open to children ages 10 and younger, with several hunts scheduled to accommodate various age groups. The hunt for those ages 3 and younger is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., ages 4 and 5 at 10:45 a.m., ages 6 and 7 at 11 a.m. and ages 8 through 10 at 11:15 a.m. Each child that participates should bring his or her own basket. New this year will be the adult egg throw contest.
Adults will find plenty to interest them at the Arts & Crafts Show, which will feature vendor booths offering handcrafted clothing, jewelry, soaps, toys and more. There will also be food vendors and children’s activities, including a mini ferris wheel and train.
