Spooky Events: Thousand Oaks Halloween Haunted Trail and More

On Saturday, October 26th, Thousand Oaks Community Center will present its annual Haunted Trail with lots of fun events. The kid-friendly thrills continue all evening and goes from 6-9pm.  The Haunted Trail begins the fun at 7:15pm with specific times to choose from. Arrive early to get your preferred "hike" time. This is age appropriate fun for families with children. The Haunted Trail is enjoyable with a hayride at the end.  Tickets can be purchased at the gate and are $3 per person.

Next on the list, be sure to register for the free Costume Contest.  Arrive 20 minutes before 6pm to register for this fabulous event. Everyone wearing a costume can enter to win great prizes.  The Costume Contest will be judged by age group, for babies, aged two and under, through adults.

From 6-8:30pm, children can participate in the free event: Trick-or-Treat Street. "Houses" will await trick-or-treaters and goodies will be handed out.  The houses are the creations of community groups and the local boy scout troops.

Additionally, there will be free events including a reptile show, a petting zoo, and pony rides.

There is much to do at Thousand Oaks Halloween Trail and Costume Contest. Come out for the Haunted Trail, participate in the Costume Contest, win great prizes, and go "door-to-door" for the "trick-or-treating" experience within the safety of the caring community of Conejo Valley.
