With the weather cooling down for fall, it is the perfect time to spend time in your local community and enjoy all the fun and exciting events. Make sure to bring the whole family out to enjoy these local events this fall.
Make sure to come out and enjoy the Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair on October 19th. The fair will feature more than 300 arts and crafts vendors, political booths, non-profit booths, and more. There will also be a Kid’s Fun Zone, so make sure to bring the kids!
One of the most highly anticipated events is coming back to the area! Reyes Adobe Days is three full days of fun and excitement! Starting on October 10th and running through the 12th, the event will feature parades, art exhibits, and beer and wine tastings.
If you enjoy tasty treats, make sure to come out and enjoy all that the Fall Food Festival at Oaks Christian School has to offer! The festival takes place on October 13th, and has plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained all day. Some of the special entertainment will include live bands, a dunk tank, Sumo wrestling, Velcro wall, boxing ring, and much more.
For something a little more physical, make sure to sign up for the 5th Annual Conejo Valley “Muds Crazy” 5K Mud Run on November 2nd. The run will take place at the Dos Vientos Community Park, with the first heat starting at 8:30 a.m. All participants are guaranteed to get muddy and have a ton of fun!
To get into the Halloween spirit, make sure to check out the Halloween Haunted Trail & Costume Contest at the Thousand Oaks Community Center on October 25th. The event will feature a trick-or-treat street, costume contest, and reptile show!
