Bring your hazardous materials for free collection!

Leftover household products that contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable, or reactive ingredients are considered to be “household hazardous waste”. Products such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries, and pesticides that contain potentially hazardous ingredients require special care when you dispose of them.

The City of Thousand Oaks now has a permanent Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 2010 Conejo Center Drive in Newbury Park! This state-of-the-art hazardous material collection facility is now open by appointment Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the local residents!

While many of us have been busy with Christmas and holiday festivities, our collection of hazardous materials may have increased for have been forgotten about. Now is the time to make an appointment to dispose of these products!
